“I can do all things through Christ, because He gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
Camp 4:13 is an Arkansas District Assembly of God camp for people with intellectual or physical disabilities. Activities include swimming, fishing, crafts, sports, games, bonfires and a talent show.
Camp 4:13 provides functionally appropriate programs for people with physical or intellectual disabilities, professional medical staff and compassionate volunteer caregivers for ages 10 and up (under 10 can attend with a parent) with a low camper to staff ratio.
You can become involved by being a camper (individuals with physical or intellectual disability) or a volunteer (ages over 18-caregiver or support staff; ages 12 to17-youth missions).
Dates for 2017 are July 31st - August 4th.
All camp workers (volunteer or youth) must:
- Complete the application and authorization and release
- Complete the CMCR form and return it to the CMCR office. Please allow plenty of time for this to be returned. Their office gets backed up, which causes a delay in our office receiving the forms. If you are an Arkansas resident, please complete the CMCR for Arkansas. If you reside in another state, please complete the CMCR and sent it to your appropriate CMCR office.
- Give the "Pastoral Recommendation" to your pastor for them to return to our office. Please make them aware that your application could be delayed if we do not have this form in our office. If you or your spouse are a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God, it is not necessary for you to complete this form.
- Read the camp training manual (click here for training manual) and return the ministry covenant form to our office.
